Terms and Conditions
Shipping
Orders involving stock colors are filled within 10-15 business days from receipt of order. Shipments will be made according to your shipping and receiving instructions. If no instructions are provided, shipments will be sent by UPS Ground.
Returns
Returned merchandise will not be accepted without our written consent and shipping instructions. Unauthorized returns will be returned freight collect. All authorized returns are subject to a 25% restocking charge.
Claims
All shipments are made at the customer's risk. Claims for merchandise damaged or lost in transit should be filed by the consignee with the transporation company. Original packaging is required by most shipping companies for damage claims. You may request additional insurance for your shipment. Claims for shortages or errors in shipping merchandise ordered must be made within two weeks of receiving order.
Terms
Terms to customers with established credit are net 30 days. When credit has not been established, orders will ship when prepaid by credit card, check, wire transfer, or cash. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted. A $35 additional fee will be included with all wire transfers. Also, a $25 fee will be charged for checks with non-sufficient funds.
Prices
All prices shown are list prices, F.O.B. Kalamazoo, Michigan; and do not include shipping or applicable taxes. All prices shown are subject to change without notice.
Warranty Information
Abstracta products are warrantied against failure due to defects in materials or workmanship, for the periods specified below. The warranty period commences with the date of purchase, which generally is the date of the invoice.
Connectors, tubes, and accessories are warrantied for one (1) year.
Shelving is not warrantied against scratches or breakage after the product has been received by the customer.
Lighting fixtures (excluding light bulbs) are warrantied for six (6) months.
Warranty protection is voided when product is used or installed in any manner contrary to Abstracta specifications and/or instructions or when product is altered or modified in any way. Defective product covered by warranty may need to be returned to Abstracta, at owner's expense, for inspection and warranty certification. A Return Authorization number must be obtained from Customer Service prior to returning any product or warranty will be voided. Defective product will be repaired or replaced, at Abstracta's discretion, and returned to the customer, via standard UPS Ground transportation, at Abstracta's expense.
